BANNERS

During my internship at Parfumswinkel I had the opportunity to design new banners for their website. These banners mostly focused on brands, new product launches, sales and gifts. On this page you can see a few examples of the banner that I created for the website. All these banners went live on their website for a short amount of time.

I learned a lot of new things while creating these banners. I had to work with a new program to create the banners and I learned how buttons can link to other pages. So, when the customer pushes the button on the banner it will lead them to another page that is connected to the banner. I also learned a lot more about different sizes when you create banners. Every device needs a different size banner to make it look better. A user-friendly design is very important when it comes to creating visuals for a website.

Before my internship I didn’t know a lot about web design, so it was really interesting for me to learn the rules and to find my way. In the future, I would really like to know more about this subject and find more information about all the rules of online design!
