SCRATCH MAP

For a project I worked on during my second year studying communication, my group and I had to come up with a concept that would show travellers more of a city, in this case Barcelona. I travelled, with 3 other people, to Barcelona to find all the hotspots that travellers need to see and came up with the concept to create a scratch map.

Travellers could apply to receive three different scratch maps. Each one was focused on a different area of Barcelona. Once they received the maps, they could take them with them while they were traveling to the city. Every time travellers visited a place on the map, they could scratch open a box. The box would reveal either a coupon code or an assignment for the traveller. This example down below was created with Photoshop and the pictures on the scratch map were taken by our group.
